We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team at AMCON Distributing Company. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and staging products for delivery to our valued retail partners. Your attention to detail, commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ability to work collaboratively with team members are essential in ensuring the efficient flow of products through our distribution facility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of products.
  • Verify accuracy of received items and ensure proper documentation.
  • Sort, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery to our retail partners.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and stock replenishment.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or discrepancies.
  • Follow established procedures and safety guidelines in all warehouse activities.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to lift 40-60 pounds and to stand, bend and lift regularly.
  • 18 years of age or older, if operating power equipment.
  • 16 years of age or older, if operating non-power equipment.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic inventory management practices.
  • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus).
  • Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing.
  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings if needed.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
