QC Supply is hiring a Full-Time Warehouse & Counter Sales Associate in Washington, Iowa. This dynamic, 40-hour-per-week role blends customer service, parts sales, and warehouse duties. As a Warehouse & Counter Sales Associate at QC Supply, you will be the backbone of our Washington branch. You will split your time between ensuring inventory accuracy in the warehouse and delivering outstanding service to customers in our showroom. You will act as the face of QC Supply, engaging with customers in-store and over the phone. You'll troubleshoot their needs, recommend parts, and ensure that from the moment products arrive to the time they leave, everything runs smoothly.

What You'll Do
  • Inventory Management: Receive, stage, and stock incoming products, ensuring our inventory management system is always accurate.
  • Order Fulfillment: Expertly pick, pack, and prepare customer and vendor orders for safe shipping.
  • Showroom & Counter Sales: Assist walk-in customers, process payments, and provide expert advice on agriculture and equipment parts.
  • Customer Support: Answer incoming calls, handle inquiries, and promote special product offers.
  • Facility Maintenance: Help keep our warehouse and retail spaces clean, organized, and safe.

What You Bring to the Team
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. unassisted and remain on your feet throughout your shift.

Role & Responsibilities
Warehouse & Inventory Operations
  • Receiving: Verify incoming shipments and log receipts accurately into the inventory management system.
  • Put-Away: Stage, stock, and organize incoming freight in designated warehouse bin locations.
  • Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders securely for customers, QC sites, and vendor partners.
  • Inventory Control: Conduct routine cycle counts, physical inventories, and maintain optimal stock levels to prevent shortages.

Counter Sales & Customer Service

  • Product Education: Guide new customers on the best uses for specialized products and promote ongoing sales and promotions.

Administration & General Operations

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Education & Experience
  • Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED.

Industry Knowledge
  • Familiarity with the agriculture industry and associated parts/equipment is a plus.
  • Eagerness to continually learn and upgrade product and industry knowledge.

Technical & Operational Skills
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to drive a company vehicle if needed.
  • Current forklift certification with proven experience operating both stand-up and sit-down lifts.
  • Proficiency in using portable warehouse technology and Microsoft Office products.
