The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising company strategy related to domestic, international, VAS and cartage freight warehouse operations through an understanding of industry trends and best practices. Work with international, domestic and cartage operations staff and internal AIT functions to provide the best overall warehouse service

Schedule:  Tuesday–Friday: 1:00 PM–10:00 PM, Saturday: 8:00 AM–5:00 PM 


  • Support warehouse operations staff in the day-to-day activities of Domestic, International, Pick Pack and Ship, and Cartage Freight Warehouse and Department personnel.
  • Meet directly with local warehouse supplier/tools/equipment providers through all communication levels (email, phone, meeting, provider site visits). Utilize negotiation and communication skills to obtain desired results
  • Develop an AIT baseline of operations and benchmark to industry standards for AIT logistics areas such as warehousing for domestic, international, and “Pick Pack and Ship” helping to identify opportunities for cost and service improvement. Reach out to peers through attendance of seminars, industry events, education settings and corporate contact.
  • Supervise and oversee daily domestic service and operations activities as it relates to cartage, freight movement and dispatch pickup/delivery quotes
  • Provide an effective warehousing system that delivers a high level of service to both external and internal customers. Identify opportunities within the affected areas and partner with Terminal / Station Manager to implement new solutions through project management protocols and elimination of constraints.
  • Review and suggest changes to permanent and temporary staff as needed to ensure the warehouse department are able to meet company goals.
  • Achieve warehouse expense goals by working with various AIT internal groups to develop, implement and monitor warehousing logistic metrics.
  • Ensure safe working environment through consistent practice of safety programs and procedures

  • Must be familiar with Warehouse (Pick, Pack and Ship), domestic, international and cartage freight forwarding warehousing services
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

In addition to your base compensation, you may be eligible for a bonus based on achievement of business and/or individual performance metrics (dependent on position).
