Job description

Join our team as a Bag Drop & Range Picker! This position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to all guests. Staff performs set-up and presentation of golf car staging area, bag drop and practice range. Coordinates golf car rentals and fleet usage. Must remain in communication with the golf shop, starters, and player assistants to promote efficient operations. Work tasks may vary based on bag drop or range picker task assignment; staff may be assigned to any on-course duties as needed. Hours may fluctuate based on operational needs evening, weekend and holiday work may apply.

Pay & Schedule: 
$15.00-$16.00 Per Hour (DOQ)

This is a Seasonal, non-exempt position, Hours are flexible and may vary by season.

Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM or After-school: 4:15 PM - 9:30 PM.

Saturday and Sunday: 6:00 AM - 1:00 PM or 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

•Greet all guests upon arrival, assist guests with all bag drop needs.
•Maintain the bag drop and golf car areas appearance standards, ensure golf car fleet is clean, fueled and presentable.
•Maintain the presentation of the practice range tee line.
•Maintain range ball inventory levels at the ball machine.
•Clear the practice range of golf balls using practice range picker, maintain range picker and advise supervisor of any mechanical issues.
•Assist with setup for Northbrook Golf Academy clinics and special events.
•Assist with cleaning and maintenance work as needed.
•Inform supervisor of any golf car issues.
•Report any work-related, patron injuries and incidents to supervisor.
•Report unsafe conditions to supervisor and correct if appropriate.
•Adhere to all golf club and safety policies and procedures.
•Perform all job tasks in a safe manner.
•Perform other duties as assigned.

At least 16 years of age with a valid drivers license. General knowledge of the game of golf, golf terminology, etiquette, and equipment.
