Job Title: Mobile PICC Registered Nurse (PRN) Location: Columbia, MO and Surrounding Areas Schedule: PRN / Per Diem | Flexible Shifts

About the Role

Weโ€™re hiring skilled and dependable Mobile PICC RNs to perform ultrasound-guided PICC and Midline insertions in hospitals, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), long-term acute care centers (LTACs), and in-home settings.

This flexible, field-based role is ideal for RNs who value independence, clinical impact, and professional respect. Youโ€™ll travel across the Columbia region responding to line placement requests as part of a high-performing vascular access team.

Key Responsibilities

Travel to clinical facilities or homes to perform vascular access procedures

Independently insert PICC, Midline, or peripheral IVs based on clinical assessment

Maintain strict sterile technique and follow infection control protocols

Accurately document procedures in EMR systems

Coordinate with providers, triage nurses, and staff to ensure timely care

Provide patient education post-insertion and support long-term catheter care

Qualifications

Active RN license in the state of Missouri

Minimum 1 year of experience with independent PICC and/or Midline insertions

Proficient with ultrasound-guided vascular access

Strong documentation, communication, and patient education skills

Reliable transportation and comfortable traveling within the Columbia region

Capable of working autonomously in mobile/field-based settings
