Job Location: Atlanta, GA (100% Remote)

Job Description:
SAP FICO/Product Costing System Consultant
Location: Mostly remote - client would like candidates to come onsite for milestones but relocation is not required; client located in Atlanta, GA
The qualified candidate will focus on providing supports on production break fixes, system optimization efforts, process improvements, project and enhancements in the SAP controlling areas including product costing with standard cost implementation practices, legal vs group costing evaluations, material ledger reconciliation, price variance analysis, intercompany STO transfer transactions, costing components and allocation process, familiar with costing master data and costing runs setups as well as various cross process integration touch points such as production order settlements and COPA reporting.
Responsibilities:
  • Apply troubleshooting skills to solve all key technical and business process issues logged into the support queue
  • Partner with key finance user to prioritize production support cases and enhancement requests (with focus on value contribution)
  • Identify and resolve root causes to re-occurring production support issues
  • Document root cause analysis and issue resolution; update job aids and desktop procedures when appropriate.
  • Lead small to medium size RTR initiatives and cross process team coordination such as system upgrade effort.
  • Participate in rotating production support on-call schedule (after hours)
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate with individual users and/or teams at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and functional/technical troubleshooting skills
  • Effective communication, business writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to collaborate with various work streams on identifying and solving multiple integration touch point issues
  • Ability to manage and prioritize simultaneous initiatives
  • Explore alternatives, recommend outcomes, and establish a course of action to accomplish specific goals
  • Knowledge of overall SAP FICO modules transactions and functionalities
  • Knowledge of SAP FICO integration touch points
Basic Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5-10 years of SAP support/ENH or with project implementation experiences combined within the SAP controlling support areas.
  • Experience supporting customized solutions (custom code/programs, interfaces, tables, and special job scheduling concepts)
  • Accounting and finance business support experiences required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be able to work a rotating after hours on-call schedule
Preferred Qualifications:(what will put you ahead)
  • Experience with SAP Product Costing implementation within consumer product manufacture industry and master data/processes integration touch points
  • Experience with SAP S4 costing evaluations on Legal vs Group and integration points
  • Experience with SAP S4 FI/MM/Inventory movement integration as well as material ledger reconciliation process
  • Experience with SAP S4 certified third party add-on PC application interfaces. (PaPM, 3C, etc.)
  • Experience with SAP Intercompany process solution alternatives and MFLE vs MKLE process concepts
  • Experience with SAP S4 CCA, PCA, PS, subcontracting, Margin Analysis, COPA application subprocess supports
  • Experience using S4 interface solutions such as EDI/IDOC transaction capabilities with internal or external non-SAP applications through S4 middleware data transformation
  • Experience working and supporting RTR work stream interfaces via S4 PO/PI integration approach
  • Experience with gathering business requirements and applying them to system solutions
  • Project life cycle implementation experiences a plus
  • Technical debug skillset a plus
