• Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to develop individualized care plans, focusing on achieving specific rehabilitation goals.
• Implement therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as appropriate.
• Monitor patients' progress, adapting treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and effective communication with interdisciplinary teams.
• Educate patients, their families, or caregivers about therapeutic exercises and the use of devices to foster independence and adherence to rehabilitation protocols outside of therapy sessions.
• Prioritize caseload management and collaborate on staffing requirements to optimize patient care delivery throughout the continuum of treatment.
• Engage in active participation in departmental meetings, contributing to quality improvement initiatives and sharing best practices with colleagues.

Your role encompasses a diverse patient population, including adults and children recovering from surgeries, orthopedic conditions, injuries, and chronic illnesses. You will utilize a patient-centered approach to tailor therapeutic interventions that not only promote physical recovery but also enhance emotional and psychological well-being.

• Current licensure in Physical Therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification must be obtained within the first 30 days post-employment.
• While no prior experience is required, a strong dedication to patient care and a desire to learn will set you apart.

• Exposure to various rehabilitation techniques and modalities is beneficial.
• Experience with pediatric and geriatric populations is a plus.
• Knowledge of therapeutic equipment and rehabilitation technology.
