Personality is extremely important to us.

Math skills can be tested and our teaching method can be learned. We are looking for someone who naturally enjoys working with children and can make learning fun.
You should be energetic, caring, confident and encouraging. You should be comfortable celebrating a student's success, making a child laugh, recognizing when someone is losing confidence, and helping them enjoy coming to Mathnasium.

  • Strong math skills. We test your math as part of the hiring process.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Leadership, administrative or customer service experience.
  • Marketing, social media, community outreach or event planning experience.
  • Interest in developing into a management role.
Career Growth
This is not simply a full-time tutoring position.
We are looking for someone who can gradually take greater responsibility for students, instructors, parents and centre operations.
There is potential to progress through:
Instructor → Lead Instructor → Assistant Centre Director → Centre Director

If you enjoy working with children, love math and want the opportunity to grow with a developing education business, we'd like to hear from you.
