Job Summary
The work study program provides funds for part-time employment to help students finance the costs of postsecondary education. The program encourages community service work and work related to the student's course of study. The program is designed to provide students with an opportunity for employment arranged around class schedules, while providing essential services to the College and the community.
Essential Functions
Help prepare equipment for weekly lab experiments and return materials to storage after sessions.
Sort, organize, and properly store physics tools, supplies, and apparatuses.
Clean and maintain lab workstations, counter spaces, and storage areas.
Assist in identifying, logging, and monitoring broken or damaged equipment for repair.
Required Qualifications
Reliable and organized with good attention to detail.
Ability to follow safety guidelines and simple operational instructions.
No prior physics or lab experience required-full on-the-job training provided.
