Job Description Summary:

The Machine Learning Engineer 2 designs and implements machine learning (ML), digital signal processing, and data science tools to enhance sensor sensitivity and performance. They apply these skills to a diverse, range of hardware projects spanning multiple sensing modalities.

Job Description:

Duties/Responsibilities
Designs and develops AI models to meet project requirements with some guidance for senior team members.
Analyzes and improves AI model performance with some assistance as needed.
Applies ML and deep learning technologies to give computers the capability to visualize, learn, and respond to complex situations.
Collaborates across departments and with customers to define requirements and understand business problems.
Reliably performs independent and team based research with a demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions to problems.
Collaborates across organizational boundaries and outside area of expertise to achieve goals. Delivers on commitments and clearly communicates any challenges.
Initiates/participates in frequent, pertinent communication relating to their programs and tasks. Strives to be inclusive in communication.
Recognizes when process/practice improvements should be made and works to bring them forward
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills/Abilities
Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong ML/AI software development skills (Python, MATLAB, R, C++, JAVA) including software best practices like version control (git).

Education

The US base salary range for this full-time position is

$75,000.00 - $156,000.00
