Job Opportunity: Medical Physicist
Our organization is actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Medical Physicist to become a part of our vibrant faculty at the main campus within the Department of Radiation Oncology. This is a full-time faculty role, with academic rank and salary aligned with the candidate's experience and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a team of nine medical physicists, engaging in clinical duties across our network, including brachytherapy, SRS/SBRT, TBI, and quality assurance.
- Contribute to clinical excellence, educational initiatives, and independent research within a supportive academic setting.
- Teach physics to medical residents, medical physics residents, and graduate students at the MS level.
- Develop and lead independent research projects.
Qualifications
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible) with a PhD in Medical Physics or a related discipline.
- Strong clinical experience in Radiation Oncology Physics.
- Exceptional communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Our Radiation Oncology Department boasts cutting-edge treatment technology and a wide array of clinical and academic resources, including:
- Advanced Equipment: 3 Varian TrueBeams, 1 Varian Edge, 1 Varian Ethos, 3 CT simulators, Aria/Eclipse/Ethos systems, Elekta Flexitron, and Zeiss Intrabeam.
- Comprehensive Services: SRS, SBRT, HDR, TBI, IORT, hyperthermia, and Online Adaptive RT.
- Dynamic Team: Comprising 6 faculty physicists, 3 clinical physicists, 1 physicist-scientist, 6 dosimetrists, and 2 medical physics residents.

Compensation and Benefits
This position offers a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes:
- Starting salary ranging from $159,000 to $985,945, based on academic rank and experience.
