Indotronix is seeking an
Onsite Job: Wire Design & Install Engineer Level 3
Work Location: Renton, WA
Duration: 5 Months Contract
Shift: 1st Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
Bachelor's Degree in STEM/ABET Required
Job Description:
  • Develop and maintain cable/wire harness detail and assembly designs.
  • Develop and maintain electrical product detail, assembly, and installation designs, including equipment racks, power panels, cable routing, geometry, and antennas.
  • Support wire installation projects by performing wire routing design throughout the aircraft.
  • Analyze design results and participate in design reviews.
  • Provide engineering disposition for production discrepancies, including rejection tags, production action requests, and shop revision requests.
  • Document processes, specifications, and procedures supporting electrical commodity design and manufacturing.
  • Develop basic statements of work.
  • Participate in supplier technical reviews and source selection activities.
  • Analyze functional and physical inputs to ensure complete integrated designs.
  • Work under general direction.
Must Haves:
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM or ABET-accredited engineering program.
  • 5+ years of electrical/wire design experience.
  • CATIA V5 experience.
  • 3D modeling experience.
  • Experience with aircraft wire routing design.
Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics, or chemistry (e.g., Bachelor's degree) and typically 5 or more years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g., Master's degree + 3 years, PhD).
