Job description

Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA)

Saratoga Medical is hiring an on-site Cardiothoracic Physician Assistant (PA) to work in at Clement J. Zablocki VA Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This role involves providing advanced healthcare services under physician supervision, developing treatment plans, and ensuring high-quality patient care. The PA will work collaboratively with the healthcare team to establish protocols, monitor patient outcomes, and practice with the highest level of independence allowed by licensure and scope of practice. The compensation package includes a competitive pay rate, paid time off, medical benefits, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community.

Required Qualifications
  • Licensure: Licensed PA
  • Certifications: NCCPA-certified; BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross equivalent).
  • Skills: Strong clinical decision-making, supervisory abilities, and patient education skills. Excellent communication and ability to work independently within scope of practice.
  • One year of heart surgery experience in OR
