• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, which include obtaining detailed medical histories, performing physical examinations, and utilizing diagnostic evaluations to form a complete understanding of each patient's condition.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in consultation with supervising physicians, ensuring that each plan aligns with current best practices and patient needs.
• Perform minor surgical procedures and interventions as required, working closely under the supervision of specialized attending physicians to ensure patient safety and care quality.
• Educate patients about their medical conditions, treatment options, and necessary lifestyle adjustments to enhance health outcomes and promote proactive management of pain conditions.
• Maintain meticulous and up-to-date medical records that document patient encounters, treatment decisions, and follow-up actions, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and organizational standards.

This role will involve working with a diverse range of patients, including those suffering from chronic pain, post-operative discomfort, and acute pain conditions. Your clinical assessments will play a crucial part in tailoring treatment strategies to meet the unique needs of each patient, while fostering an environment where patients feel heard and supported throughout their care journey.

• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
• Current state licensure as a Physician Assistant in California.
• Possess strong clinical skills, with the capacity to work independently and make informed decisions within your scope of practice.
• Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and the healthcare team.
• A commitment to compassionately delivering patient-centered care, emphasizing wellness and recovery.

• Experience in pain management or related medical fields will be beneficial but is not mandatory.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems to enhance documentation and patient interaction efficiency.
• Previous exposure to surgical settings is advantageous.
