Job description

Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant (Full-Time, Day Shift)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a full-time, day shift schedule. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care, assist in implementing treatment plans, and support patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Physical Therapists in delivering treatment interventions according to established care plans
Monitor patient progress and report outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients and families on exercises, mobility techniques, and recovery strategies
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and treatment activities
Ensure a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment
Adhere to all regulatory, compliance, and safety standards
Required Qualifications:
Degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant Program
Oregon Physical Therapy Assistant License upon hire
National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
Ability to meet department-specific training requirements or possess equivalent education and experience
Successful completion of a Department of Human Services (DHS) criminal background check upon hire, in accordance with company policy and state regulations
