USA Sports Therapy has multiple cutting-edge facilities in prestigious locations focused on orthopedic and sports physical therapy, post-surgical rehabilitation, return-to-sport recovery, sports chiropractic, chronic pain, injury prevention, car accident and whiplash injuries. We pride ourselves on providing the highest quality of care and creating individualized treatment plans.

We are looking for a Physical Therapist Aide/Medical Administrator that will work under the direct supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist. This position will involve administrative duties to aid in patient flow and management as well as clinical responsibilities.

Administrative Responsibilities

      •     Answer phones, greet patients and other visitors when they arrive

      •     Collect co-pays, coinsurance and self-pay payments

      •     Work with other team members to implement systems, programs, and processes

      •     Schedule patient appointments and complete new patient intake procedures

      •     Distribute forms and paperwork and check them over to ensure that required fields are completed properly

      •     Manage inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinate reordering

      •     Assist in managing patient flow: check in and check out

Clinical Responsibilities

      •     Acts as an assistant to the Physical Therapist when the Physical Therapist is performing evaluations and procedures.

      •     Aid in the implementation of patient's individualized treatment plan as established by the Physical Therapist

      •     Guide patients through PT-prescribed exercises

      •     Administer modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation

      •     Clean and disinfect treatment tables, equipment, and instruments after each use and at the end of the day.

Qualifications

      •     Have a basic understanding of human anatomy & physiology

      •     Knowledge of various treatment concepts and exercises

      •     Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

      •     Outgoing and vibrant personality

      •     Quick learner that’s able to work independently

      •     1+ years of experience working in a healthcare setting

      •     1+ years of experience in electronic health records software

      •     Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Suite

      •     Bilingual (English and Spanish) a plus
