JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role:

Security Engineers is seeking dedicated Unarmed Patrol Security Officers to help maintain safe and secure environments for our clients. Officers play a vital role in deterring incidents through visibility, vigilance, and proactive engagement. Responsibilities include patrolling, monitoring access points, verifying identification, responding to alarms/emergencies, and maintaining detailed logs. This role requires professionalism, strong observational skills, and the ability to remain calm under pressure.

Minimum Qualifications

· Must have or be able to obtain a valid State Security License

· Valid driver’s license and a Motor Vehicle Record that meets company approved driver standards

· Must be at least 18 years old

Duties & Responsibilities

Patrol & Surveillance• Conduct walking and vehicle patrols to identify and report safety concerns• Monitor access points; verify IDs and credentials• Monitor surveillance systems for threats or suspicious activity

Incident Response & Reporting• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents per protocol• Maintain accurate logs of activities and incidents• Perform routine security tasks (e.g., locking/unlocking doors)

Customer Service & Policy Enforcement• Assist visitors and employees professionally• Enforce site-specific Post Orders and security protocols• Ensure compliance with SEI and client policies (e.g., smoking, loitering, parking)

Required Skills & Abilities

Minimum• Ability to perform in fast-paced, high-pressure environments• Weekend availability• Strong situational awareness and problem-solving skills• Ability to remain calm and effective in critical situations• Basic computer skills; ability to use tablets for reporting

Preferred• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite

Minimum Physical Requirements With or Without reasonable accommodation (subject to change based on client-specific needs)

• Stand/sit for at least 1 hour without break• Walk a minimum of ½ mile without stopping• Climb at least 20 commercial facility stairs without stopping

Education & Experience

Minimum• High School Diploma or equivalent

Preferred• 1+ years verifiable Military, Law Enforcement or Security Experience• 2+ years of verifiable customer service experience
