Job description

Job Requirements

The Account Manager - Physical Security works primarily in the field and partners closely with inside sales, engineering, and operations to develop and deliver access control, video surveillance, and related physical security solutions. Success in this role requires strong prospecting skills, comfort with complex, project-based sales cycles, and the ability to position the company as a trusted long-term security partner.

Compensation

The expected pay range for this position is $74,324-$123,873 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

In addition to base salary, this position is eligible to participate in a performance-based incentive compensation program. Actual earnings are based on individual performance and applicable plan terms.

Stark Tech reasonably expects to pay within this range at the time of hire. Individual compensation is determined based on several factors including experience, education, certifications, skills, internal equity, and market conditions.


Work Experience
  • 5+ years of B2B outside sales experience, preferably in physical security integration or low-voltage systems.
  • Proven track record of new business development and new-logo acquisition.
  • Experience selling project-based solutions with multi stakeholder buying processes.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings.

What we would love to see:

  • Experience selling access control, video surveillance, and enterprise security platforms (e.g., Avigilon, Genetec, LenelS2, Axis, etc.)
  • Experience with public sector, K-12, higher education, healthcare, or enterprise customers.
  • Familiarity with RFPs, bids, and formal procurement processes.
  • Existing relationships within the assigned territory.
