ABOUT THE TEAM

The Technical Security (TechSec) team within Anduril's Corporate Security Program is dedicated to protecting our people, physical assets, and proprietary innovations. We design, procure, and deploy robust technical security infrastructure and systems across our global footprint. Our mission is to create a secure built environment that enables Anduril's transformative work in defense technology. ABOUT THE JOB

The Badging Access Control Team Lead will oversee the management and maintenance of physical access control systems for all Anduril sites while delivering world-class customer service to employees, contractors, and guests. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with team leadership, ensuring the protection of Anduril's employees, facilities, and assets across all locations. The Team Lead will be responsible for managing access control operations, leading team members, and driving continuous improvement of policies and procedures.
Reports to: Technical Security Access Control Manager

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Lead and mentor Security Access Control team members, providing training on badge printing, visitor management hardware, and system operations with Standard operating procedures documentation.
  • Serve as escalation point for regional access control needs and complex technical issues.
  • Coordinate team workflow and ensure consistent service delivery across all sites.
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing coaching and development.
  • Issue credentials to all Anduril employees, contractors, and guests.
  • Create, assign, maintain, revoke, and audit access within the enterprise access control system (Genetec ClearID).
  • Process all physical access requests using the enterprise ticketing system.
  • Manage and maintain visitor access within the enterprise visitor management system.
  • Maintain appropriate site supply inventory and ensure adequate resources for operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business partners to define space ownership and appropriate area approvers.
  • Lead the continuous development of access control policies, procedures, and systems with documentation.
  • Create and maintain access control documentation using proper change management and process controls.
  • Maintain access control system datasets, including compiling reports, assisting with requests from internal teams, and reporting key metrics to senior leadership.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 3+ years of experience managing physical access control in a corporate environment.
  • 3+ years of experience creating and modifying access credentials in Genetec and ClearID enterprise access control systems.
  • Proven experience in a customer service-oriented office environment.
  • Experience working in the Physical Security industry with exposure to global operations and projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, ticketing systems (Jira), and collaboration tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with a diverse team.
  • Strong leadership abilities with experience training and mentoring team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with rapidly changing priorities and peak periods.
  • Strong work ethic and high level of discretion with the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to serve as escalation point for complex issues.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 5+ years of progressive security experience, preferably within a multi-national corporation or Federal entity.
  • Strong project management skills and extensive experience with large-scale technical security system implementations and upgrades.
  • Familiarity with AI tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, ticketing systems (Jira), and collaboration tools.
