Description
  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in various settings, whether inpatient or outpatient, crafting customized treatment plans that reflect individual needs.
  • Deliver targeted physical therapy interventions that promote mobility, enhance strength, and improve balance and overall function.
  • Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Guide patients and their families through therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and exercises tailored for home practice.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of evaluations, treatments, and patient progress following facility and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to facilitate coherent and effective patient care.
Education
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
Certifications
  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Specialized certifications such as neurological or geriatric are advantageous but not mandatory.

  • Prior experience is highly desirable.
