PHP Web Developer will play an essential role in the continuous development of a customer facing, B2B Insurance web application. This proprietary platform offers online rated insurance products and policy management for a growing menu of specialized coverage tailored for businesses and professionals. Building an application from the ground up, using cutting edge technology in an Agile/Scrum environment

Qualifications
Skills Required:
  • Solid PHP 5, MySQL, SOA, XML, AJAX and Web Services
  • Experience with PHP Framework, Kohana / Zend a must
  • Comfortable working with Front-End: HTML, CSS and UI
  • Familiar with versioning Control Systems, specifically Git/Source Tree
  • Kowledge of basic Linux Server Administration
  • Practical expertise in web design, application flow and development process. Should write neat and flawless code
  • Takes a modular approach to application and database design in order to make feature additions as simple and seamless as possible.

Technical expertise developing web applications within the range of mid to senior- level. Must be familiar with Scrum practices or have past experience in an Agile environment or, at least willing to learn and accept Agile practices. Team Player, collaborate often in the design process by understanding the need for interaction with the team. A code sample is also strongly encouraged.
