Full-Time Dental Assistant — General & Cosmetic Dentistry

Schedule: Full-time, 4 days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)

About the RoleWe're a patient-focused general and cosmetic dental practice looking for an experienced, reliable Dental Assistant to join our team. If you take pride in delivering excellent chairside care, keeping the clinical flow smooth, and making every patient feel comfortable from check-in to checkout, we'd love to hear from you.

What You'll Do

  • Provide chairside assistance during general and cosmetic procedures (fillings, crowns, veneers, whitening, etc.)
  • Prepare and break down operatories, sterilize and maintain instruments, and stay on top of infection control protocols
  • Take and process digital X-rays and intraoral photos
  • Take impressions/scans and assist with lab case coordination
  • Set up trays and ensure the doctor has everything needed for each procedure
  • Review treatment plans with patients and answer questions in a clear, reassuring way
  • Manage patient flow to keep the schedule running on time
  • Maintain accurate clinical notes and charting
  • Help create a warm, welcoming environment that builds patient trust and loyalty

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years of dental assisting experience in a general and/or cosmetic practice
  • Strong chairside skills and solid knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
  • Genuine focus on patient comfort and a great patient experience
  • Professional, dependable, and a team player who communicates well
  • Comfortable with digital radiography and intraoral scanning
  • Dentrix Ascend experience is a plus, but not required (we're happy to train the right person)
  • Current X-ray certification and any state-required credentials
