Job description

Marketing StudentOur internships and co-ops are designed to provide you with a business relevant project that will allow you to independently manage your own area of responsibility, while receiving support from an assigned Supervisor and Technical Mentor. We'll help you discover your strengths and development areas in a challenging, fun, and supportive work environment.What You Will Be Working On

We are seeking a student to join us for a 4 or 8 month co-op position starting in September 2026. This position will be based out of Regina, SK.
Responsibilities:

Support the company culture that encompasses the highest ethical standards and is aligned with the corporation's core values.

Support the execution and implementation of the following initiatives:

Social Media:

  • Assist in creating engaging content for social media posts and SharePoint news stories.

  • Assist in capturing the essence of our events through photography, videography and written content, ensuring that our brand and initiatives are showcased effectively.

  • Assist in the production of social campaigns for strategic marketing initiatives.

Website:

  • Support with website content, updates, and development as required

Brand Marketing:

  • Support brand compliance across all Business Groups and Districts

  • Collaborate with Marketing team to ensure that branding is consistent on all external platforms

  • Support brand and marketing initiatives by helping maintain consistency across materials, platforms, and promotional touchpoints.

  • Assist with the distribution, organization, and management of promotional items and branded materials.

Communications & Content:

  • Assist in crafting engaging and professional written content, including SharePoint news stories, internal updates, project profiles, and articles for industry publications.

  • Support content gathering and research by collecting information, photos, project details, and background materials from internal teams.

  • Help capture and document company initiatives, events, and project milestones through photography, videography, interviews, and written storytelling.

  • Assist with post-event and project-related communications, including summaries, recaps, and follow-up materials.

Event Planning & Support:

  • Assist in planning, coordinating, and supporting BD, client, community, internal, trade show, and industry events.

  • Support event hosting activities, including welcoming guests, assisting with registration, coordinating event flow, and helping ensure attendees have a positive and professional experience.

  • Help prepare event materials such as invitations, attendee lists, signage, agendas, name tags, promotional items, and post-event communications.

  • Work collaboratively with event coordinators, vendors, exhibitors, and internal teams to support planning and execution.

  • Gather and organize required event supplies, including tents, banners, displays, branded materials, and other event assets.

  • Assist with the assembly and dismantling of trade show booths, displays, and event structures at industry events.

What We Are Looking For
  • You are currently enrolled in a post-secondary degree, diploma, or certificate in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or related discipline.

  • You will complete at least one more semester of education following your internship andpossess a GPA of 3.0 or higher

  • Ability to lead and operate within an environment where change happens frequently

  • Ability to forge, grow and maintain positive relationships

  • Familiarity or desire to learn Adobe Creative Suite programs is considered an asset

  • Highly developed interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Sense ofurgency and strong commitment to achieving goals

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a positive attitude

  • You must be legally entitled to work in Canada as of your start date and for the duration of your employment. You are required to provide to the Company proof of your legal ability to work in Canada prior to your start date.
