Job description

This is an entry-level position in automotive production photography, and no experience is necessary. The role primarily involves staging, preparing, and moving vehicles to the photo booth. You will also walk the lot to locate vehicles that need to be photographed and bring them into the lineup. Additionally, you will help maintain quality control of our online photos. Some vehicle cleaning or photographing new arrivals may also be required.
Starting wage: $15.00 per hour. Work hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Thursday and on Saturday. You will be off on Fridays and Sundays. Saturdays are non-negotiable. Candidates must take pride in their work and be self-motivated. Personal responsibility for one's work is essential and a highly valued character trait. Punctuality is a must for all candidates.

Main Tasks:
  • To assist the principal photographer in the staging and creation of automotive digital content. (Digital Photos)
  • To assist in uploading the digital content to various autogroup websites.
  • To assist in digital merchandising of digital content online.
  • To assist in the Production of Fred Martin T.V. Show: The Car Connection.
  • To prep and move vehicles for photo.
  • Walking the lot for vehicles that missed picturing and pulling them in line.
  • Keeping an eye on Quality Control of our online photos.
  • Some cleaning of vehicles, or picturing new arrivals may be necessary.
  • To assist in any duties required by Marketing Department, to ensure the highest quality of photos possible.

This position requires physical activity such as a lot of walking and getting in and out of vehicles all day long, and there is much more to our daily processes than actually taking of the photos. Much more staging, cleaning, lighting, and Quality Control.
This position requires a clean driving record.
No experience in Photography is required, we will train.
Good computer skills are required and some experience in digital photo editing.
