Motor Werks, a member of Murgado Automotive Group, is a renowned automotive group specializing in a variety of vehicles. Located in the village of Barrington, we pride ourselves on offering world-class service, unparalleled automotive experiences, and premium brands. To continue delivering excellence, we are looking for a talented and creative Automotive Photographer to join our team.
Position Overview:
As an Automotive Photographer you will play a crucial role in presenting our vehicle inventory in the best possible light. You will capture high-quality, detailed images and videos that showcase the beauty and features of each vehicle, helping drive customer interest and sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Photograph and video the dealership's new and pre-owned inventory with a focus on showcasing the vehicles' best features.
Ensure that all images meet company standards for quality, consistency, and presentation.
Organize and edit photos using photo-editing software to optimize images for online and print use.
Upload photos and videos to the dealership's website and third-party platforms.
Coordinate with the marketing and sales teams to ensure timely posting of new vehicle images.
Maintain and organize an updated library of vehicle images and media content.
Ensure all vehicles are photographed in a timely manner upon arrival.
Set up, adjust, and manage lighting and other equipment to capture the best images.
Monitor vehicle details, ensuring they are cleaned and ready for the photo session.
Continuously improve and innovate with new photography techniques, ideas, and trends.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in automotive or product photography preferred.
Proficiency with professional camera equipment and photo-editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom).
Strong attention to detail and an eye for capturing the essence of luxury vehicles.
Ability to manage time effectively and work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with a team-oriented mindset.
Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
A portfolio of previous photography work, particularly automotive or product photography, is required.
Efficiency with Lightroom/Photoshop and/or editing.
Valid driver's license is required.
Ability to work a rotating Saturday shift each month.
