Key Responsibilities:
  • Photogrammetric Skills: Provide photogrammetric services and engineering in support of the full range of traditional and non-traditional imaging systems and products. Provide expert/senior photogrammetrist services in support of GEOINT product quality assessment planning, execution, results analysis and reporting.
  • Sensor Model Skills: Provide knowledge of the creation of rigorous sensor models and their exploitation, to include the creation of new exploitation methods. Provide expert knowledge of the application of sensor models to support predicted accuracy.
  • Research and Development: Support the research and development of new sensor models and exploitation methods for both two-dimensional and three-dimensional data.
  • Geolocation Experience: Support assessment of product geolocation accuracy and predicted accuracy using verified geolocation of known features, verifying mensuration accuracy through measurement of known objects, calculating ground sample distance, and other photogrammetric analyses as directed.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with a polygraph
  • Education: B.S. degree in Engineering, Remote Sensing, Physics, Mathematics, or another related field
  • Experience: At least 5 years of related experience working in the photogrammetry field performing analyses supporting research and development or operations.
  • Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Experience: Demonstrated specialized experience in researching and developing geospatial solutions for photogrammetry and remote sensing.
  • Sensor Modeling: Demonstrated experience with imaging geometric sensor modeling, covariance error propagation, and multi-variate least squares adjustment
  • Sensor Imaging: Applied knowledge of sensor imaging systems, products, and exploitation processes
  • Payloads: Knowledge of Electro-Optical and SAR payloads and their Concept of Operations (CONOPs)
  • Testing: Experience testing and analyzing Electro-Optical payload and imagery geolocation and mensuration performance
  • Software: Experience writing or enhancing C++, MATLAB, Python, or R code for prototyping, problem solving, visualization, or engineering analysis of systems and concepts. Working familiarity with software tools such as SOCET GXP, MSP, and iSpy
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a persistent desire to learn
  • Team Player: Ability to work as an effective member of a dynamic, collaborative team, including mentoring more junior personnel
  • Organization and Communication: Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate complex engineering analyses and study results to government and corporate management. Demonstrated organizational skills, initiative, self-motivation, ability to work-independently, and sense of project ownership
