Job Title: Visual Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a meticulous Visual Inspector who is comfortable using computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP. The role involves moving between different workstations and requires strong data entry skills. The successful candidate will take pictures of products, upload them to the company system, and recognize discrepancies in photo evidence. Editing and updating check sheets and SOPs, monitoring quality issues, and assisting with audits are key responsibilities. The role requires availability on some Saturdays, depending on the production team's schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual inspections of products, components, or materials using the human eye, sometimes with tools like magnifying glasses.
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel and other computer applications for data entry and documentation.
  • Take and upload product photos to the company system, ensuring photo evidence is accurate.
  • Edit and update check sheets and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Monitor, respond to, and escalate quality issues as needed.
  • Enter material and finished product holds into QA Notify emails.
  • Assist with audits when required.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and SAP.
  • Experience in manufacturing quality and quality assurance.
  • Strong visual inspection skills.
  • Ability to recognize discrepancies in photo evidence.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, particularly in precision machine or sheet metal manufacturing.
  • Experience with quality control, GMP, and blueprint reading is advantageous.

Pay and Benefits
