Restaurant & Show Sales Photographer

Cashman Photo

Job description

Join a Las Vegas Institution
Since 1967, Cashman Photo has been capturing the moments that bring people to Las Vegas. Our photographers work inside the Strip's most recognized restaurants and entertainment venues, helping guests turn a night out into a memory they take home. We are hiring Sales Photographers across multiple locations. Our current focus is fine dining, with select entertainment venue opportunities also available.
If you are energized by genuine human connection, driven by personable sales, and at home in a polished, high-end environment, this role can change your career trajectory. We provide professional equipment, paid training, and mentorship. The rest is up to you. Over 40% of our current photographers have been with us five years or more, and over 20% more than a decade.
What You'll Be Doing
Photograph guests at fine dining restaurants and entertainment venues as they celebrate special moments. Guide them through personalized photo packages with confidence and warmth. Translate guest excitement into sales through skilled, polished conversation, in venues operated by some of the Strip's most respected hospitality partners.
Who Will Thrive Here
You have an entrepreneurial spirit and want direct control over your own success. You build rapport naturally, with poise and intuition. You carry yourself with the confidence of a luxury environment, and you are comfortable on your feet with lightweight camera gear for a full shift. You welcome evenings, weekends, and holidays, because that is when the opportunity is.
You are not looking for a job where you are paid by the hour. You are looking for a role where what you earn reflects what you bring to it.
Compensation
We pay a guaranteed $12.00/hour base, or your earned commission for the shift, whichever is higher. On top of that, you keep daily tips and performance bonuses. The commission structure directly connects your performance to your income.
Because we operate in two distinct venue environments, earnings are best understood as two ranges. Both reflect actual historical data from the past 12 months, calculated by dividing total earnings (base or commission, plus bonuses and tips) by total hours worked.
Restaurant (Fine Dining) Photographer
  • Typical earnings (25th-75th percentile): $22 - $53/hr
  • Typical shift: 5.7 - 6.5 hours

Show (Entertainment Venue) Photographer
  • Typical earnings (25th-75th percentile): $16 - $30/hr
  • Typical shift: 5.8 - 6.2 hours

These ranges represent the middle half of qualifying employees. A quarter averaged above, and a quarter averaged below. Where you land depends on your sales performance, venue assignment, and how well the role suits you. The $12.00/hour base is the only guaranteed figure. Everything above it is earned.
Scheduling
Unlike a traditional job with a fixed weekly schedule, your shifts here are built around business needs. Hours, venues, and days change from week to week. The number of shifts you work, the locations you are assigned to, and the length of those shifts will all vary, and none of it is guaranteed regardless of how long you have been with us. Flexibility is part of the role, not the exception to it.
At the same time, the nature of our business is predictable in one important way. The vast majority of guest activity at fine dining restaurants and entertainment venues happens in the evenings, on weekends, and on holidays. That is when our hospitality partners are busiest, and that is when our photographers work. You should expect the bulk of your shifts to fall during those periods, with a typical start time around 4:30 PM and end times varying by venue, sometimes running past midnight.
If evenings, weekends, or holidays are a deal breaker for you, this is not the right position. If you understand that those hours are where the opportunity lives, you are in the right place.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 years old
  • Reliable transportation to the Las Vegas Strip
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
  • Professional appearance suited to luxury and entertainment settings
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays

No prior photography, sales experience, or degree required. The skills are trainable. The personality is not. The ability to approach strangers warmly and handle frequent rejection with composure is something you bring on day one. If that is not you, this is not the right position for you.
The Invitation
If you have the drive and the poise to master this role, you will build a career that rewards your dedication. If this aligns with your ambitions, we invite you to apply.
Cashman Photo Enterprises. On the Las Vegas Strip since 1967.
This posting is for our Sales Photographer roles in restaurant and entertainment venues. If you are looking for a position more focused on the craft of photography than on direct sales, please see our other listings.
