Pay:

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide quality nail services including manicures, gel polish, Gel-X, builder gel, structure gel, and other nail enhancements
• Create clean, trendy nail sets while delivering a welcoming and professional client experience
• Maintain proper sanitation and cleanliness of tools, workstations, and equipment in accordance with New York State Board standards
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon environment for clients and staff
• Maintain professionalism, organization, and completion of daily salon operational responsibilities
• Assist with welcoming clients, appointment flow, client checkout, and maintaining a positive guest experience throughout the salon
• Comfortable handling basic front desk responsibilities including client communication, booking support, and processing payments when needed
• Assist clients with service recommendations, product suggestions, and rebooking future appointments
• Help promote salon services, memberships, and retail products when appropriate
• Stay open to learning new techniques, trends, and salon systems through ongoing training
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer service
• Participate in salon content creation, photo/video capture, and weekly Instagram posting as part of the Got You Polished brand experience
Qualifications:

Must hold a valid New York State Nail Technician License
• Passion for nails, beauty, and providing a great client experience
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional attitude
• Strong work ethic and willingness to take initiative
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Positive team-player mindset with willingness to support coworkers and overall salon operations
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced salon environment while maintaining organization, professionalism, and quality service
• Open to learning new techniques, nail trends, and ongoing education
• Experience with Gel-X, builder gel, structure gel, acrylic, or nail art is a plus, but not required
• Front desk, receptionist, or customer service experience is a plus
• Comfortable creating content, being featured on social media, and maintaining a branded professional Instagram presence
• Comfortable using salon systems, mobile apps, email, and team communication platforms as part of daily operations
• Reliable, organized, and attentive to cleanliness and client experience
