Wheel Repair is a mobile wheel repair company in Iowa/Illinois. We are professional, rewarding and challenging.

Our Technicians work in a mobile workshop where we provide wheel services such as cosmetic refinishing and/or straightening repairs. You will be trained how to do the job of a wheel technician in our paid, two-week program. Training IS NOT conducted in your area. Training is done OUT OF TOWN with one of our senior technicians in Cedar Rapids, IA;. Hotel expenses are paid, as well as a meal reimbursements up to $75/week on your first paycheck..
As stated, this is a position in which traveling is a requirement for training you will need to use your personal vehicle to meet with the training technician. After training, You do not need to use your personal vehicle, except to get to and from the storage facility the truck and trailer unit is stored at. You will be traveling to the different cities that are on the scheduled route in our mobile units; all equipment and supplies are provided. You may also occasionally be asked to assist our other techs in one of our 6 routes located in Eastern Iowa and Central Illinois. Reimbursement is provided for gas. The company also pays for any overnight stays outside of the territory area.
 
Responsibilities 
  • Greet customers as they arrive for service 
  • Create a professional environment that builds rapport and puts customers at ease
  • Answer customer questions about our refinishing & straightening processes
  • Use ReConPro software to maintain a customer database you will use to create customer invoices
  • Repair the cosmetic finish of the customer's wheel(s)
  • Straighten the customer's bent wheels
  • Use strong negotiation skills to complete the sales process while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction 
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent is suggested
  • Valid state-issued driver’s license and clean driving record are required
  • You must be insurable on commercial fleet insurance
  • Prior sales experience in a dealership or showroom setting is preferred
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage time and serve customers with little supervision
Compensation: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour.
