Job description

Managing a diverse portfolio of oil and gas assets and allocating capital towards the right acquisitions are key elements of the finance function at Phoenix. The Capital Markets Senior Associate will be working closely with the MD of Capital Markets and CFO with a focus on raising capital via the Regulation A plus and D offerings being marketed by Phoenix. This role will be critical in the growth of the business and will get exposure to every function within the company. The ideal candidate for this role has practical experience in finance and or accounting with a propensity to sell and an ability to raise capital. The investment products being offered by Phoenix have annual yields ranging from 8 to 12% with monthly cash distributions and stands head and shoulders above other offerings in the marketplace. The ideal candidate will quickly learn the business and be ready to discuss the offering with inbound leads generated through digital marketing efforts the company is running.


Major Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Consult with inbound investor leads
  • Promote the A plus and D offerings and convert inbound leads into Phoenix Investors
  • Engage with third-party vendors supporting the overall capital-raising efforts
  • Study for and pass the SEI, series 63, and Series 7 or 82 Exams

Required Skills:

  • Bilingual - Spanish speaking is a plus but not required.
  • Competent in various aspects of finance, accounting, and financial modeling
  • Ability to sell and consult with potential investors over the phone or in person when required
