SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Laboratory Phlebotomy Supervisor
  • Directly supervise, lead and coordinate the daily activities of the phlebotomy staff. Assists the laboratory manager with decisions and activities related to phlebotomy services.
  • This position is a working supervisor who also assists the department in working as a phlebotomist as needed.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):
  • High School Diploma or equivalent education
  • Phlebotomy Technical - National Health Career Association or Phlebotomy Technician - ASCP (Either one listed is acceptable) within six (6) months of hire.
  • Minimum three (3) years Phlebotomy experience with inpatients and outpatients

  • Previous leadership experience
