Overview

Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Phlebotomist in a clinical setting, where your skills directly impact patient care and diagnostic accuracy. This role offers the opportunity to work in diverse environments, including patient service centers and doctor’s offices, providing flexible schedules and a chance to make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.

Responsibilities

Draw blood samples from patients across various age groups, including pediatric and geriatric populations, following established procedures.

Prepare specimens for laboratory testing while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Verify patient demographic information and ensure proper labeling of specimens in presence of the patient.

Maintain accurate records and documentation related to specimen collection and patient interactions.

Create a welcoming environment by establishing trust and confidence with patients through clear communication and professional conduct.

Perform specimen collection and processing duties with confidence and adherence to safety protocols.

Demonstrate leadership behaviors focused on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information.

Support various locations, including patient service centers and in-office phlebotomy sites, often on short notice or flexible hours.

Maintain a safe, professional environment and promote a positive image to patients, staff, and the community.

Required Skills

Proficient in phlebotomy techniques, including pediatric and geriatric blood draws and capillary collections.

Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record, if applicable.

Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime, to cover multiple locations.

Proficiency with keyboard and data entry tasks.
