RNEmergency Department (Night Shift)
  • Location: Watertown, NY, 13601
  • Duration: 13-week Contract
  • Shift: 12-hour Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM 
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Weekly Pay: $2,160 - $2,340; (Negotiable based on experience)

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN) for a 13-week night shift contract in Watertown, NY. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced emergency department setting, demonstrating critical thinking, leadership, and adaptability.


      Responsibilities:

      • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department.
      • Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations promptly.
      • Function effectively under stressful conditions while maintaining high standards of care.
      • Prioritize and delegate tasks efficiently, including potential charge nurse responsibilities.
      • Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
      • Perform IV therapy, medication administration, and phlebotomy (certifications required during orientation).
      • Successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation; achieve defibrillation certification within six months.

        Qualifications:

        • Current NYS RN license required.
        • BLS and ACLS certification required.
        • PALS required or obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer.
        • Experience with MEDITECH required.
        • Travel nursing experience required.
        • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
        • Minimum of one year acute care nursing experience required; ED experience.
        • Critical care and charge nurse experience preferred.
        • Strong problem-solving, organizational, leadership, and communication skills.

          Radius Requirement:

          • Candidate must reside within a 60-mile radius of Watertown, NY.
