Location: Various locations across Alberta Phlebotomists are responsible for drawing blood from patients for testing, transfusions, or donations. They ensure patient comfort and safety during the procedure. Key Responsibilities: Perform venipunctures and capillary collections accurately and safely.

Prepare and label blood samples for laboratory testing. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area. Educate patients about the blood collection process.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification in phlebotomy preferred. Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
