What does a phlebotomy in training do?

A phlebotomy in training, often called a phlebotomy trainee, is someone learning the skills and procedures required to become a certified phlebotomist. Their main responsibilities include observing experienced professionals, practicing blood draws under supervision, learning to handle specimens safely, and studying anatomy and infection control.
