Medical Temporaries, Inc. is currently seeking an experienced ***Phlebotomist***.
  • Minimum of 1 (one) year of experience required working in a lab setting drawing blood.
This is a FULL TIME/TEMP TO HIRE position requiring availability between the hours of 8AM-5PM, Monday through Friday, located in Williamsburg, VA 23188.

Responsibilities :
A Day in the life of a Phlebotomist:

As a Phlebotomist you will be responsible for drawing blood and other tissue or fluid from patients for testing and lab work. Most importantly the Phlebotomist will verify the identity of the patient that the blood will be drawn from, label the collection tubes accurately, explain to the patient what will happen next throughout the procedure, prep the patient for drawing blood, and answer any questions that the patient may have. As the phlebotomist you must be confident in your skills for this fast paced lab position.

Requirements for the Phlebotomist :
  • Required: 1+ year of experience working in a lab setting as a phlebotomist
  • Required: Confident in venipuncture skills
  • Required: BLS/CPR
  • Required: COVID Vaccination
  • Required: Ability to pass Background Check and Drug Test
  • Required: Must be reliable and a quick learner and have ability to multi-task with accuracy in a very busy environment
  • Required: Excellent written and verbal communication skill
