Job Description:
Orleans/Niagara BOCES is seeking a Phlebotomist Instructor to teach aspiring phlebotomists. Candidates must have 3 years of practical experience or teaching in phlebotomy along with a high school diploma and current Phlebotomy Technician Certification or be a Licensed Registered Nurse with Phlebotomy experience. This part-time role involves both classroom and hands-on instruction, with emphasis on maintaining a positive learning environment.
This position requires strong leadership, organization, and adherence to educational and regulatory standards
  • High School, GED, or equivalency completion; AND
  • 3 years of practical experience in Phlebotomy, or three years of acceptable teaching experience in Phlebotomy, or three years of acceptable administrative or supervisory experience, or a combination of such acceptable experience amounting to at least three years, or a licensed RN with phlebotomy experience.
  • Current Phlebotomy Certification if not a licensed registered nurse
  • Relevant occupational work experience in phlebotomy
  • Strong communication and instructional skills
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
