Job description

Job Summary

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is recruiting for Pediatric Anesthesiologist for our per diem group.

Physicians will have flexibility with their schedules to provide on-site and call coverage. Candidates will utilize our electronic health records system in the hospital for patient orders and billing details. You should be comfortable working with residents along with the supervision of CRNAs. Physicians will participate in quality improvement programs, documentation review, and all regulatory matters related to the department and practice site.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an ACGME accredited Pediatric Anesthesiology Fellowship
  • BC - Pediatric Anesthesiology by the American Board of Anesthesiology
  • Unrestricted medical license for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
  • Current Pennsylvania DEA license

St. Christophers Hospital for Children, a partnership between Tower Health and Drexel University, is a188-bed facility that provides exceptional care to children throughout the Greater Philadelphia area andsurrounding counties. With more than 220 pediatric experts on staff, St. Christophers Hospital for Children combines topnotch pediatric care with a wide array of pediatric specialties, including Cardiology; Ear, Nose and Throat; Gastroenterology; Oncology; and Orthopedics. It houses the only Pediatric Burn Center between New York City and Baltimore and is one of only three Level I Pediatric Trauma Centers in Pennsylvania. St. Christophers is a Magnet designated hospital and has been recognized as a Womens Choice Award Best Childrens Hospital.
