About the Job

Come join our extraordinary team! In this role you will have the opportunity to lead, mentor, and support teams that support the accredited Analytical Laboratory, Data Review and Dosimetry Records. As a member of our on-site team in Glenwood, IL, you will collaborate with partners such as R&D, Quality Control, and Operations to implement and ensure compliance of products & services. We are customer obsessed and problem solvers in our daily work, and a people focused team that is always looking for opportunities to develop and solve problems together!

Responsibilities
  • Manage teams of Dosimetry Health Physics support staff.
  • Serve as the Analysis Laboratory Subject Matter Expert.
  • Ensure exemplary customer support for Health Physics and Dosimetry by engaging with the customer as first and secondary support.
  • Maintain U.S. and international dosimetry accreditation and regulatory compliance.
  • Identify product trends and opportunities for improvement through data analysis; interpreting results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques.
  • Participate in experimental design, project teams, R&D, and Operations.
  • Extract and analyze relevant information from large amounts of dose data to help automate and optimize key features and processes.
  • Champion continuous improvement for your organization, using the Fortive Business System (FBS) toolbox. Provide leadership to drive operational improvement and ensure the business is reporting and performing to its metrics and business drivers.
  • Grow, mentor, and inspire a team by owning all elements of the employee life cycle: on-boarding, training, performance management, career development and advancement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree in Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, or related field.
  • Experience working in External Dosimetry, Health Physics or related field.
  • Experience with or an understanding of Radiation Measurement, Health Physics, Material Sciences, Dosimetry, and Shielding.
  • Experience working with outside auditors, inspectors and clients auditing the facility.
Preferred
  • Master’s Degree in Health Physics, Nuclear Engineering, or related field.
  • American Board of Health Physics Certification (CHP).
  • Knowledge of standards including: ISO 17025, ANSI N13.11, ANSI N13.32, IEC 62387, ISO 21909.
  • Familiarity with calibration/irradiation facilities.
  • Experience leading a team, with proven track record to mentorship and development of others.

Pay Range

The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 114,100.00 - 190,500.00
