Job description

AllSTEM Connections is seeking a Statistician to work hybrid onsite in Rahway, NJ or Upper Gwynedd, PA.
This is a 12-month contract position. Possible extension/temp-to-hire.
Hourly rate is up to $48.20/hour.
M-F, 8AM - 5PM.
SUMMARY:
The Statistician will support CMC-related research activities through experimental design, statistical analysis, and reporting. This role partners closely with scientists to design studies, interpret results, and generate high-quality statistical outputs that inform development decisions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Research CMC Statistics.
• Develop study design (DOE), statistical analysis, and reported output.
• Engage with scientists as necessary to understand requirements to design study experiments and discuss results
• Experiment design entails having joint conversations with scientists to discuss the issues and constraints on study design and execution.
• Generate study reports as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Minimum Requirement:
• Masters in statistics/biostatistics or related discipline with a minimum of 3 years relevant work experience, or PhD or equivalent degree in statistics/biostatistics or related discipline with a minimum of 1-year relevant work experience.
Required Skills and Experience
• Solid knowledge of statistical analysis methodologies and experimental design.
• Strong hands-on experience and working knowledge of statistical and data processing software e.g. SAS and/or R.
• Must also demonstrate the ability to learn, be proactive and motivated, and consistently focus on details and execution.
• Strong oral and written communication skills. Able to function effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
• Proven experience applying DOE to real-life industry problems.
