The nationally accredited cancer care program at a leading Cancer Care Institute in Davenport, Iowa, is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Medical Physicist. Join a collaborative team dedicated to providing exceptional care and treatment in a state-of-the-art clinic setting. Job Responsibilities:
- Provide safe therapeutic radiological physics to the Radiation Oncology Department.
- Ensure equipment safety and quality patient care in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in teaching and training initiatives.
- Engage in treatment procedures, including patient-specific QA, chart QA, and linear accelerator QA.
- Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists, Dosimetrists, and therapists for effective treatment planning.
- Calibrate and commission linear accelerators and other radiation sources as needed.
- Implement new technologies and conduct quality assurance of equipment and treatment plans.
- MS or PhD in Radiology/Radiological Sciences.
