Job Title: Postdoctoral Associate - Gestational Diabetes Division: Obstetrics and Gynecology Work Arrangement: Onsite only Location: Houston, TX Salary Range: $63,480 FLSA Status: Exempt Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.
SummaryThe Postdoctoral Associate will conduct independent and collaborative research investigating the role of Adrenomedullin (ADM) signaling in the development, prevention, and treatment of Gestational Diabetes Mellitus (GDM). This position is supported by a federally funded NIH R01 grant and involves the use of genetic, pharmacologic, molecular, and physiological approaches in mouse models of pregnancy and metabolic disease. The Postdoctoral Associate will contribute to studies focused on maternal glucose homeostasis, insulin signaling, inflammation, and maternal-fetal health outcomes. The position provides advanced training in translational reproductive biology, metabolism, and experimental therapeutics while supporting publication and grant-related activities.
This position is supported by an NIH R01-funded project with multiple integrated aims focused on understanding the role of ADM signaling in gestational diabetes. The Postdoctoral Associate will have opportunities to develop expertise in metabolic disease, reproductive biology, translational medicine, and advanced mouse models. The position is intended for individuals pursuing independent research careers in academia, biotechnology, or pharmaceutical sciences and offers significant opportunities for publication, professional development, and grant‑writing experience.
