Job Overview  
D1 Training Lakewood Ranch is seeking a dedicated and energetic Strength and Conditioning Coach to join our team. Our facility specializes in athletic-based group training for adults and youth athletes ages 7 and up, providing top-notch training and support to help our athletes reach their fitness goals. Our motto is simple: "You pick the goal, we help you get there." We’re looking for a coach who embodies the D1 philosophy and is passionate about transforming lives through fitness.  
 
Responsibilities
- Coaching and Development: Lead group workouts, personal training, and team sessions, adapting training programs to meet individual needs for athletes of all ages and fitness levels.
- Motivate and Inspire: Create a positive, encouraging environment that fosters growth and confidence in every athlete.
- Client Retention: Provide exceptional service through coaching, accountability, and regular progress check-ins to support members’ fitness journeys.
- Risk Management: Ensure athletes’ safety by teaching proper form and technique and customizing movements to minimize the risk of injury.
- Member Engagement: Build relationships with each D1 member, supporting and tracking their fitness goals.
- Sales Support: Assist with new memberships, introduce prospective members to D1, and contribute to overall membership growth.
- Event Participation: Collaborate with the team to host events and engage with the community to enhance the D1 experience.
 
Qualifications  
- Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science or related field preferred.
- Certification in Strength and Conditioning (e.g., CSCS, NASM, ACE) accredited by NCCA.
- Valid AED/CPR/First Aid certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a group, team, or personal training setting.
- Athletic background with knowledge in fitness or sports training.
- Exceptional communication and customer service skills, especially in working with younger athletes.
