Job Overview

The Personal Training Sales Manager is a sales-driven leadership role responsible for driving personal training revenue within 1-2 clubs. This position is accountable for generating new personal training clients, maximizing revenue per member, and building a strong pipeline of consultations through disciplined outreach and follow-up.

This is a highly visible, performance-based leadership role. Success is measured by appointment generation, consultation delivery, close rate, session volume, and total personal training revenue. The PT Sales Manager works closely with the General Manager to align membership growth with personal training conversion and retention strategies.

This is not a behind-the-desk management role. The PT Sales Manager is the driving force behind our Personal Training Department. This role is a blend of leadership, mentorship, and hands-on coaching to ensure exceptional fitness experience for members and trainers.

What We Expect

  • Lead & Motivate – Manage a team of personal trainers, guiding them to deliver top-tier fitness coaching while fostering a supportive, goal-driven culture.
  • Train & Transform – Conduct fitness assessments and create personalized training programs to help clients reach their goals.
  • Inspire Growth – Monitor client progress and keep them motivated and engaged throughout their journey.
  • Drive Results – Manager new member onboarding, sales, renewals, and referrals, helping expand our community.
  • Collaborate & Innovate – Work closely with the General Manager to create a dynamic, successful club environment.

What You Bring

  • A recognized Personal Training certification (ACSM, NASM, ACE, ISSA, etc.) OR bachelor's degree in exercise science/related field.
  • Valid CPR/AED certification
  • 1-2 years of sales experience preferred
  • Proven ability to motivate and coach a team
  • Deep understanding of fitness, exercise physiology, and nutrition
  • Strong consultative selling skills with confidence asking for the sale
  • High energy, competitive mindset, and personal accountability
  • Ability to manage a structured sales pipeline and activity goals
  • Strong communication skills and professional presence
  • Coachable, growth-oriented mindset

This is more than a job; it’s a career in fitness leadership where you can change lives daily.

Schedule

Schedule will align with club peak hours and member traffic, including evenings and some weekends as needed.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base pay + commission + performance bonus potential
  • Full-time benefits available (medical, dental, vision, life, disability)
  • Paid time off and paid holidays
  • Opportunity for performance-based advancement into senior leadership roles
  • Performance-driven culture that rewards results
