Position Overview

Tenure Track or Lecturer Track Faculty – The Division of Public Health at the University of Utah is recruiting up to two faculty members (rank of Assistant or Associate Professor) to expand and strengthen teaching and research.

Qualifications
  • Expertise in maternal/child and family health, environmental health, and causal methods in epidemiology.
  • Experience and expertise in the application of AI in public health education and/or research is highly desirable.
  • Rank, track, and salary will be commensurate with experience.
Department and Program Highlights

The Division of Public Health is part of the Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, which operates 12 community-based clinics, offers four graduate degrees (MPH, MSPH, MStat in Biostatistics, PhD in Public Health), serves over 100 graduate students, and has global health and community health focus areas.

Annual research expenditures exceed $16 million. The department is ranked #2 in NIH funding among family medicine departments in the 2024 Blue Ridge Institute for Medical Research report.
