Job description

Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Build and support models and processes used in the management of multi-asset portfolios.
  • Processes include portfolio construction, risk analysis, and manager analysis.
  • Contribute to research projects that span portfolio design, construction, and management.
  • Revise and create Python computer programs which support the investment process.
  • Take on primary responsibility for specific aspects of the team's process.
  • Work with groups across Nuveen to ensure success of TDMA platform.
  • Communicate team research and processes to internal and external stakeholders.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5 to 7 years' experience supporting multi-asset portfolios.
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, engineering, computer science or related fields with proven academic success.
  • Quantitative focus preferred. CFA, CIMA, CFP, MS, MBA, or PhD also preferred.
  • Experience in multi-asset research or investments.
  • Committed self-motivated individual who can demonstrate initiation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong analytical skills, and exemplary attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of programming (Python) preferred.
