REQUIREMENTS

Qualified candidates must hold a PhD in the biotechnology field (i.e. Molecular Biology, Immunology, or Genetics), Chemistry, or a related field. The candidate is required to have experience drafting and prosecuting domestic and international patent applications and preferably also in preparing patent opinions specifically in biotechnology or similar technology. Candidates must be registered to practice before the USPTO. The ideal candidate will have immediately transferable skills, strong legal writing and research skills, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Top academics and law firm experience also required.
