Position: Biochemistry & Life Sciences Domain Expert
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65–$105/hour
Location: Hybrid, Bay Area, California
Commitment: 40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

  • Vet the quality of life sciences knowledge work tasks and model outputs. Identify missing behaviors, thin reasoning, and unsupported causal claims.
  • Write high-quality instruction specs and produce golden solutions to life sciences problems. Define new tasks that reflect real research practices.
  • Design challenging life sciences tasks and evaluation sets. Build domain-specific skills and tools with the research team.
  • Collaborate with client researchers to maintain consistent standards. Translate tacit scientific judgment into explicit, teachable criteria.
  • Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines while improving AI model performance.

Qualifications

Must-Have

  • PhD in biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, immunology, neuroscience, or related fields.
