Job description

We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join a highly collaborative AI/ML team supporting Contact Centers and Digital Customer Experience initiatives for one of the largest airlines in the United States. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions that directly impact customer experience and operational performance. Applicants must be able to work onsite in DFW Tuesday through Thursday

In this role, you will take ownership of data preparation, pipeline development, model design, testing, deployment, and monitoring. You will partner closely with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to develop and productionize scalable AI solutions in a Microsoft-focused environment.

Required Skills & Experience
  • Master's or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field with 5-7+ years of experience
  • Advanced Python expertise, including production-grade development, modularization, testing, debugging, performance tuning, and code optimization
  • Hands-on experience developing and productionizing Machine Learning pipelines, including model deployment, orchestration, monitoring, and optimization (MLOps)
  • Experience building Generative AI applications and applying statistical and machine learning techniques to solve complex business problems
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Experience with LLMs, Agentic AI, prompt engineering, and customer-facing GenAI applications
  • Azure ML, Databricks, SQL, MLflow, and CI/CD pipeline experience
  • Experience taking ML models from prototype to production, including containerization and system integration
  • Understanding of AI governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI best practices

  • Design, build, test, deploy, and monitor Machine Learning and Generative AI solutions supporting Contact Center and Digital Customer Experience initiatives
